DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN CUIABÁ – MATO GROSSO
Your guide will be waiting for you at the airport at the pre-arranged time. The first part of the journey takes about 1 hour (100 km) on a paved road until we reach Poconé, the capital of the Pantanal and the last town before entering the world’s largest floodplain.
From Poconé, we begin our drive along the famous Transpantaneira Road, where excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography appear within the very first kilometers. Birds, caimans, capybaras, lizards, and many at the start of the road.
Upon arrival at the lodge:
Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, and the guide will meet with group to set the departure time for the next day’s activities and go over all necessary information

BOAT SAFARI FOR JAGUAR WATCHING AND ALL WILDLIFE
Mornings in the Pantanal start early: breakfast is served at 5:30 AM, and times may be adjusted by the guide according to the group’s preferences and the day’s conditions. We will board the boat in search of jaguars along the tributaries Encontro das Águas State Park, one of the three largest protected areas in the Pantanal. With a high density of prey species—such as caimans and large groups of capybaras—this region offers some of the best chances to see the of the big cat. During the low-water season, when the riverbanks become exposed, it is common to find jaguars resting or hunting along the river’s edge. In addition to them, we may observe a rich diversity of wildlife, including giant otters, Neotropical otters, caimans, capybaras, tapirs, Pantanal anacondas, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and various bird species, such as the magnificent toucan and the endangered hyacinth macaw.
We usually enjoy lunch while watching jaguars. This decision is coordinated
the day before between the group and the guide. Don’t worry—there will be
several opportunities for safe stops, including bathroom breaks, in designated
sandy areas along the river.
DAY 6
TRAILS AND CAR SAFARI
Breakfast will be served at 6:30 AM at the reserve.
After breakfast, head out on a 1.5-hour trail walk.

chefs. At 3:30 PM, you will embark on a vehicle safari.
After dinner, another night safari, increasing the chances of
spotting crepuscular and nocturnal species.
DAY 7LAST DAY
The final breakfast is served from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m.
After breakfast, you will have the option to join a scheduled
hike, and afterwards you will have time to organize your
luggage.
Departure to Cuiabá between 9:30 and concluding the experience.
